Overview

A stay at Alam Mountain feels nothing short of heavenly. Living

In all aspects, Alam Mountain is unlike any villa you’ve ever experienced before. The whole villa has been designed to make the most of its one-in-a-million setting, with bedrooms and living areas alike offering jaw-dropping views of Bali island. The décor, too, feels deeply respectful of its Balinese surroundings, from the rich natural colour palette to the beautifully crafted furniture and carefully curated artwork adorning the rooms.

Living Room

The living room is a beautiful open-plan space opening to the villa’s signature views overlooking the island and out to the ocean. The space is decorated in natural earth tones and framed by a tropical garden, further cementing the villa’s “back to nature” ethos. Doorways are adorned with intricate Balinese carvings, with a spacious sofa lounge offering a relaxed and peaceful setting for drinking in those million-dollar views.

Dining Room

The dining room is incorporated into the same open-plan space as the living room seating area. A stunning table carved from a single slab of wood is surrounded by six dining chairs, offering the most scenic setting imaginable. At Alam Mountain, your every meal will be accompanied by seemingly endless vistas gazing over the surrounding villages, rice fields and sacred mountains, reaching all the way out to the Indian Ocean. Discreetly tucked behind the living and dining areas is the villa’s kitchen where the chef will prepare gourmet meals while you relax and enjoy your stay to the fullest.

Garden

Enjoy true indoor-outdoor living at Alam Mountain. The property is accessed through a beautiful bridge built amidst the jungle, befittingly described as “Your Bridge to Nature”. With open-plan living areas framed by tropical gardens, flanked by amazing views of the island stretching as far as the eye can see, unwind and truly be one with nature. The deck runs the length of the villa and is dotted with sun beds – the ultimate spot for perfecting your tan while enjoying some of the best views amongst the clouds. Explore our gardens where we plant our very own local produce ranging from vegetables, fruits, herbs and spices. Here at Alam Mountain, we are a strong believer of sustainable living and strive to include local produce from our gardens and surrounding community into the gourmet meals prepared for guests.

A few things to note

Check-in time is 03:00 pm and check-out is 11:00 am
All prices are subject to 10% government tax and 7% service charge.
Discounts start with 3 nights at 10%, 4 nights 15%, 5 nights 20% (max).
Breakfast is included in all over night stays. However, lunch and dinner to be selected separately with additional charges.
There are no other meal options or sources available near Alam Mountain.
Alam Mountain is an open concept space and so it is not suitable for small children.
Our staff are on-site during the day and in the evenings, and a security guard stays onsite overnight.
Generally, temperatures at night can become chilly, sometimes below 20 degrees Celsius. It is advisable to pack some long-sleeved pullovers and long trousers.
There are no ATM facilities or banks close to Alam Mountain, so please make sure you bring enough cash with you. Credit cards American Express, Master and Visa are accepted.
We collect rainwater and make sure the water is clean and safe. We ask all our guests, especially during the dry season, to use as little water as possible and only as much as is necessary (short showers, limited use in sinks). The water is clean and disinfected but not for drinking.
The nearest medical clinic is at Puskesmas Penebel.
